I have researched the internet and stores for the best cat food for weight control. Blue Buffalo Freedom Indoor is because of its low calorie count (hard to find what it says on the packages). That's only 332 kcal/cup (8 oz). where so many "weight control/internal" marks are around or over 400. It's really important if your overweight cat only needs to be fed one 8-ounce cup a day. The pellets are a good size so he chews them instead of swallowing them. .(PS: Giving Revane a bowl of cat maze also helped slow his food intake.)
