My cat ate it for the first time so I thought she would eat it and let the rest of the previous brand finish eating. Then when I switched back to that brand, she wouldn't even touch it. I left it on her plate for four days and it wasn't eaten at all. But the return period has passed and I'm stuck with a full bag of cat food that nobody eats.

Based on the reviews and feedback I chose this product and am very glad I did. I have an older cat who is very picky about dry food. She loved this food. It's also small so she doesn't have to chew too much as she gets older. I've tried many brands and spent a fortune on foods she still doesn't want to eat. Will definitely buy again.

I have researched the internet and stores for the best cat food for weight control. Blue Buffalo Freedom Indoor is because of its low calorie count (hard to find what it says on the packages). That's only 332 kcal/cup (8 oz). where so many "weight control/internal" marks are around or over 400. It's really important if your overweight cat only needs to be fed one 8-ounce cup a day. It was a waste of money. My 2 house cats have not even tried this food. I even tried adding some to their current dry food (regular Purina Cat Chow) but they still wouldn't eat it. Then I tried feeding them this for only (3) days and they decided to fast on those (3) days as they did not eat this food. I can't confirm "taste" because I don't eat cat food. And my cat eats it. He can be picky depending on his mood, but he does well with new foods. He was once a hungry abandoned cat that we adopted. Suddenly he got a little chubby. Although we still mix it with a teaspoon (or more) of wet food, it decreases.
