We started using Blue Buffalo for our cat who was diagnosed with a food allergy. He had recurring lesions in the chin area, commonly referred to as "rodent lip". (People used to think it was from a rat or mouse bite, but it really has nothing to do with rodents.) We switched to this type of Blue Buffalo for weight control as our kids got a little heavier. It works for both purposes: stopping weight gain and significantly reducing the number of vet visits and medication for eosinophilic granuloma (rodent lip) on our cat's face.
