I wanted something small but easy to read in typical restaurant/bar lighting. That works great. * Outside diameter is 2 inches (I also measured it as 5.0 cm) according to my measurements. The height of the digits is 11 mm (0.43 inch). * As my headline says: solid construction and clear instructions. Backlight - Press the silver bell button at the top. * Runs on a CR2032 battery (included) which is easy to find (like my local Walgreens drug store) and incredibly long lasting with many other uses in other devices. .*The only downside is that it doesn't stand upright! I think my table is perfectly flat but when looked at in all but one direction it just falls over no matter how careful you are. I don't care but if it were a problem I'm sure a small strip of cardboard and some tape on the back of the clock would fix it. * Accuracy - 5 weeks time accurate to the minute. Not much time to judge, but so far so good. *If you are looking for something smaller, DO NOT buy an all-in-one mini motorcycle watch with a waterproof digital motorcycle watch. 1.1" - 2 pack. First, there were no instructions. Also, it was smaller, which was fine (more discreet), but too small for my eyes in a restaurant setting, and more importantly, no matter how good Her eyes are size '1' looks like '7' because the top of '7' is incredibly short (to be clear this is NOT an issue with Bell Automotive watches where all numbers are very clear and different from each other).
