Review on KEF Q350 Bookshelf Speakers (Pair Home Audio by Latarsha Spencer

Expressions like "run in”, "open” etc. I always found audiophile ka-ka. I was wrong. Great speakers but they take a long time to open up. I bought them in January 2021 and something happened about a month ago where they just became magical. The high frequencies are very crisp, they still roll well but not as much as before. They're bass-heavy if they're too close to the wall. Mine is 10-11 inches apart, but sometimes that's too much. I use the included foam plugs when needed as I don't have room to push them further away from the wall. The mids are still nicely relaxed (to my ears), but they've opened up too. In other words, they are now perfect. If I ever go back to the towers it will be KEF. +++++
