I give the 5" five stars and the 7" 3 stars. I ordered the 5 inches first, they were perfect! Not too bulky, knee resistant, seamless waistband, pockets and perfect stretch without riding up too much. I ordered the longer ones just to make them look different but the bottom is too tight compared to the 5". I'm a fat woman around the hips and thighs so I usually struggle with getting the obvious areas into my legs The 5" was perfect, but unfortunately the 7" was shortened.
