I started this today and it works exactly as advertised on the first try. The user interface is identical to the original. The only bone I have to pick is that the battery compartment seems poorly designed for no reason. It's too roomy for the batteries, and since I have OCD, I had to fiddle around a bit to get them lined up properly on the contacts. Remarkably, however, the remote still worked when I tried to insert it and left it misaligned like a normal person. I'm not sure if this will cause any problems in the long run, but I'll never know because I took them off right away and aligned them properly. If I didn't, I would have to rip my face off hoping the pain would distract me from the realization that they were just sitting there, misaligned, laughing at me.
