I finally managed to use them during the flight. They did a good job of suppressing the noise of jet engines but I could understand what the stewardess was asking or what she was talking about. Maybe it's because I fly a lot. Either way, just tap the earcup to switch to noise-cancelling mode. The buttons are easy to find and use. They fit perfectly and cover my ears completely. I have a small head - I needed a youth helmet for riding my ATV. The headphones vibrated in my ears during action scenes with explosions or the like, but I was able to turn the volume down and that helped. They don't press on the head but are quite soft and comfortable. Bluetooth, app and tile function worked great. I highly recommend these headphones. The color is beautiful.
