I bought mine to wall mount behind a wall mounted flat screen TV. The situation was that the TV didn't have a flat plug, so I didn't have enough to plug in the TV. I also wanted to install it behind the TV, so I took the black one. Outlets are well located which is important. The only downside for me was that the whole button turned red. Let's be honest, I didn't want to settle for a red wall in my bedroom! The simple solution for me was to put black tape on the switch, which made it work; On the other hand, most people will use this behind or under furniture.
