I'm not a fashionista. I have a small, well-used and functional wardrobe that I take good care of so that it lasts a long time. I am disappointed in the cheap fabric and construction of today's clothing. Although the fabric of these briefs doesn't feel too thick, after washing and drying they feel more durable, softer and more breathable than I expected. The fit and comfort of these briefs are excellent, they are fully closable and stretchable without restricting or binding. In the past, my biggest complaint about cotton panties has been the narrow crotch area that doesn't offer full coverage or width to use panty liners. These briefs have extra wide, lined inserts in the crotch. After a couple of washes none of the loose stitching I've experienced in the past, particularly around the elastic at the waist, is gone. I am so pleased that I bought a second pack. Hopefully I am now prepared for the next 10 years!
