They are the typical Adidas size. I wasn't sure if the extra sole was sticking out on the sides of the forefoot. I was afraid that I might drag my shoes more or trip over them. Neither happens. I don't know if that was the intention, but it actually gives me a bit more stability on serve when I'm reaching for serve. My ankle stability and rotation isn't really an issue, so if that's the intent I don't get it. But the lace holes are terribly placed. If I tighten my shoelaces, he'll try to flatten my leg. One match with tight laces and my arch flattened out and I felt like I had a torn ligament (it healed in a few days). I put my old Superfeet insoles in and everything is fine now, but I'm afraid to over-tighten the laces. Finally, this brings me to the fact that these shoes have NO padding. It feels like I'm clapping clown shoes on the court. I liked Adidas Barricades better. I might even go back to ASICS taking care of the cushioning.
