This pump is great for helping me suck a little before I feed my daughter when I'm too full or when my daughter is full and I'm still on feeling little uncomfortable. I do about 5 ounces most of the time throughout the day and that's enough for me to have a pretty good stash. The suction power is great as I can turn it on and do whatever I need and. He's worried he'll fall until he's 3.5 ounces. Then I never dropped him, but I just feel like he can, so I usually keep my hand under him. The only time I don't trust that is when I'm actually feeding my daughter. I don't use it to capture disappointment as I'm pretty sure my daughter can handle it. I'm sure there could be other tricks I could try that would make them less likely to kick or punch him, but I'm not worried enough about that to try.
