I needed a better area for soldering small SMDs. At first I used USB microscopes, but they were cumbersome to use. At a convention I saw an electronics guru using this particular scope, so I had to try it. Amazing clarity and functionality. Very easy to set up, plenty of space to place display item. I love stereoscopic viewing, WOW! I was concerned that I might need more magnification than 60x for SMD, but I usually use 10x. At 30x magnification I can see tiny imperfections in the 0402 components, 60x I can't imagine. The light system is more than sufficient for me. I have NO complaints, this is an amazing sight in my book.
