Review on 🐱 Kitty Holster in Purple - Size S/M: Comfortable Cat Harness for Easy and Safe Adventures by Amy Mcleod

My cat loves to get outside and explore. He is trained on a leash so he is easy to walk around. However, with other seat belts I've had issues with him breaking free and trying to run away if something startles him. I had heard good things about the Kitty Holster holster for a while before deciding to try it - basically that it was supposed to be practically "escape proof". I was a bit wary though because they have velcro closures instead of more traditional snap-in closures. But after getting a couple of painful bites the last time he caught him escaping his old harness (he hates being picked up), I decided to give Kitty Holster a try. This is quite a big cat so even after measuring I was concerned that S/M will not fit but fits perfectly. I can tell he doesn't like this harness as much as his old one (probably because it's a bit heavier and covers more of his body) but seems to have gotten used to it after a few minutes of protest riding. Once we're outside, he doesn't seem to care at all that he's on. And if he's scared now, no matter how hard he twitches and twists, there's no way out. As other reviewers have pointed out, just make sure you fasten the velcro properly and you shouldn't have any problems. I am very happy with Kitty Holster. I no longer worry about walking my cat and she is happier because she can go outside more often. It also makes car journeys and trips to the vet easier. If you were on the fence about trying this, don't do it! I don't think there is a better suspension.
