I bought a GoldenRod for my 64 gun safe and it works really well. The temperature inside the vault stays around 8 degrees above ambient and the humidity stays around 40%. I have no corrosion on the contents of the safe and it is in an unair conditioned garage. I am generally very satisfied with the product. One feature I like is the adjustable cord length. My safe has a 110v outlet and I cut the cord to the perfect length so it's out of the way and harder to hook with a gun butt. The instructions for cutting and ending the cord were very clear. Installing the goldenrod is easy too, just screw two small clips into the insulation in the safe and it snaps into place, I mounted mine horizontally just under the door to provide warmth. to climb over the safe. One final note: while the GoldenRod doesn't get very hot, it still feels uncomfortably hot, so use caution when handling it from the bottom of the safe.
