So I've never cleaned my chain - I've always relied on bike shops for my annual maintenance. But due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a bit harder (the ones still open are _flooded_), so I thought it was time to learn how to do it yourself. the bike lifts off the ground) makes it VERY LIGHT. First, it's easier than riding a bike! Simply place your choice of degreaser on the fill line, snap the tool around the chain, and back pedal 30 or 40 times. Rinse tool, wring out sponge and rinse chain if necessary. Fill the tool with clean water and place it back on the chain for another 30 or so turns of the pedals. (Don't forget to dry the chain afterwards and of course apply new lube!)
