The product was quick and easy to assemble. My daughter assembled it in under an hour and enjoyed placing the cubes in different positions. When I was about to purchase this item, I read reviews that indicated the item was not durable or sturdy. This was NOT my experience. I think you just have to be careful not to overload it. All of my stationery is now in these cubes, as well as a few smaller folders. I had no problem with it falling apart or sagging. I simply put the few items that I had heavier on the lower shelves. For the money this is a great product. If you want something that can be loaded with heavy objects, then your expectations are unrealistic. For my needs, this product has proven to be very strong and durable. Just don't overload.
