Running in Texas is hot. These socks have worked for me since I used them on my last 3 runs. They aren't too thick and the polyester blend doesn't leave puddles of sweat on the shoes like mostly cotton socks do. I like that the heel tab fits snugly against the heel instead of being thicker than other socks (they tend to get small debris from the trails). They also share the same quality features as the arch and heel lock to minimize chafing. I wear size 13 sneakers and the big one fits me perfectly. Much better than the standard sock size 6-12. I will continue to use them and will reorder if they hold up their longevity.
