Works great but not very weatherproof
This is a good door and the flap works great, snaps great. It's been a few months now and keeps up with 3 dogs but he's not weatherproof. There are fairly large gaps on the sides of the flaps that are open to the elements, so the only way to keep the weather down is to lower the cover panel. Even then ice forms on the door during the day/night. We have a storm door that we can close at night to protect from the weather to make it work and as a dog door I would recommend it but probably not to anyone who lives in an area that has real winter.
