Purchased to cover 2 captain chairs in our camper van. We used blankets, towels and robes to stuff the chair to keep the cat from stretching out its claws. Covers are technically oversized for chairs as they are not as soft as lounge chairs but offer more to hide or place something on the seat under the cover to tuck away when stopped. I bought one and after trying it out I was satisfied enough to buy a second one. Heavy vinyl feels durable. The smell of new vinyl that fades quickly. Edit: I added a photo of our cat jumping onto a chair but staying on top of the shirt hanging there. He wouldn't touch the plastic.
