My first order of these was obviously someone else's return (earwax on one of the domes, ewww). Also, the left bud would not pair with the app, so it was defective. I exchanged via ebay exchange process, which was easy. The second set was perfect! These are well-made, quality earbuds. I really liked the charging case and the way the buds just drop into it and start charging! Bluetooth worked well on my Android Moto phone, after I reset the buds by long-pressing the button on the charging box as per the instructions. The app is great, I programmed the aids to my audiogram without any issues. The sound quality when streaming music was pretty good, though I prefer the sound of my wired earbuds and I never did try it with Bluetooth phone calls. The hearing aid feature worked well, except that the "occlusion effect" was pretty bad for me--when I was having a conversation with someone, my own voice was so loud in my ears that I had difficulty understanding the person. Also, when eating, my own chewing sounds were very loud, making table conversation problematic. I am not sure if this is a user-specific problem, that is, maybe caused by my particular physiology or hearing loss type. Regardless, I decided to return them, and I plan to go with a behind-the-ear programmable aid.
