Review on ๐Ÿšฝ GET SERIOUS RV, Boat, Camper Chemical Toilet Holding Tank Treatment: Fast-Acting Deodorizer with Stress Relief Fragrance by Jacob Brooks

Works better than others

2 year update: This seems to work better than Campco, Happy Camper and Blue Stuff, with max strength for all four. Waste seems to dissolve better and there is less odor with this product. If you need to dump with a portable van, the smell will be there no matter what. The stench flies through the vent. You'll probably have to use an industrial odor mask in bulk to completely mask 40 gallons of undiluted sewage. All gray water is mixed into normal sewage; so keep that in mind. This product seems to reduce this odor better than others. I bought a gallon. I've experimented with other products and came back to this product. I also transferred the product to a spray bottle and sprayed the toilet and drains regularly. Happy Camper (a Revain product) claims to work better and cheaper than any other tank product. I took the trouble to calculate it and share it with you: (2021 Revain Prices) Happy Camper: Small Container: $24.4518 = $1.41 per scoop! 9 treatments (maximum on label) = $2.80 / 2 scoops! Treatment = $0.77/scoop 32 treatments (max label) = $1.55/2 scoops Large container: $86.45/130 treatments = $0.67/scoop 65 treatments (max label) = 1.32 $/2 scoops 1ha Black Diamond tank (128 oz): $29.88/$128 treatments = 0.23! $64 (label maximum) = $0.47! Me: (wide use, above label) 52 = $0.57 (still less than a scoop of Happy Camper at top wholesale price). So you will be treated for a year longer. Maximum on the label one gallon Black Diamond, at a significantly lower price and (perhaps) slightly better results. Important: You must flush the tank regularly with water pressure. Otherwise, sludge will accumulate and a smelly "pyramidโ€ can form just below the toilet. This pyramid can stay above the waterline and cause a terrible odor. Some products do not solve this problem. Also, turn off the water and turn on the toilet faucet. Use bright light. You will likely see a pool of sewage flowing down to the reservoir. This needs to be cleaned if you want to get rid of the stench. None of these products will prevent or fix this. That's why people say these products don't work. The manufacturers of the products might tell you otherwise, but the reality is that you occasionally need to clean with pressurized water and possibly clear the drain. The more tanks used, the more this applies. Regardless of what the RV industry (or the boating industry) has to offer, using it properly is tricky and tricky. If not, you are doing something wrong and the consequences will be costly and unpleasant. First Review: This is comparable to other products but claims to contain a microbial rather than a chemical or purely enzymatic active ingredient. I've only used it in the winter in the northern latitudes of the US, so I can't say how it will perform with the smell in the summer heat. Presumably, microbial growth will increase at higher temperatures. (Update: hit 109ยฐ here. Works like winter from my point of view. Like everyone else, I'm sure there's a strong industrial smell present in Black Diamond that basically masks the smell. Dissolves trash and paper a little better than that Happy Camper. I'll probably use 3 oz [rarely 4 oz] instead of the recommended 2 oz max BD. My tank is larger and I haven't cleaned it much to date. Happy Camper eats up less storage space.) I was hoping that would help the level sensors of the storage tank are cleared, but so far (2 resets) this has not happened. Neither Happy Camper nor the other two public health products. Two dumps is premature to request a review, but I'm responding to Revain's request for a review. He's probably still creating the tank biome. I think if it works at all it will work better over time. (Update: 2 years later the internal sensors never cleaned.) I did not compare the price of processing this and the Happy Camper. (Update: pretty much the same.)
