Review on πŸ”¦ Review of Streamlight 66608 MicroStream USB Rechargeable Pocket Flashlight: 250 Lumens, Coyote by Darian Massey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Get the Coyote color for High mode first. Regulation could be better. Still a killer buy.

Availability On rare occasions on my journey to overconsumption I find something extremely compelling. What a fantastic little light. It's so light I don't know it's in my pocket. The flood beam pattern is very bright and very useful. Please note that despite the AAA size, a different type of battery is used. . 3.7V Lithium Battery This is ideal for emergencies and/or EDC/projects - general home lighting. Can even be used tactically if needed as the switch is on the tail cap. If you prefer a high level, choose a coyote color. Don't be fooled by uninformed reviews berating this flashlight for being "not bright or too hard to get to". . You simply bought the wrong color of light and were not informed. Other non-coyote colors start low. My small criticism: Admittedly, the secondary mode is difficult to switch on. You must master the correct timing of the partial pressure to activate the secondary model. Charge times can be a little slow (4+ hours) and it takes a lot of pressure to fully flip the switch, so weak fingers can resist a bit. January 2020 update to their family and friends as a gift. They are always very well received. The only gripe I have is that the light drops to a much lower output fairly quickly. You may only see the brightest output around 5-10% of a fully charged battery. I would wish for a more uniform regulation. But hey, this is a $30 light that does a lot for the money.
