Review on 🌍 UGEARS Globe Mechanical Assembly Kit for Education and Learning by Anthony Morrow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Surprisingly fun but hard on my fingers.

This was the first wooden model I built as a teenager and it brought back fond memories. It's a nifty little ball the size of a large softball and the mechanics work well if you follow the instructions and use wax and sandpaper. If you are new to making these models, use tweezers or needle nose pliers instead of your fingers to separate pieces from the wood panels. My only complaint about this design is that the paper cutouts are used to attach the continents to the globe. they are thin and break easily. Be very careful and take your time. I lost the South America tip and had to put it back on.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and bulky
