I was shaking and throwing up for days! I was a bit concerned about the high carb content of this product, 30 grams per serving, but was told it was a low glycemic index blend, leading me to believe it wouldn't cause any sugar reactions. But boy, was I wrong. For the first time in months I fell badly! I got an upset stomach about an hour after eating it and this upset lasted for 4 days! And I also had a feeling of low blood sugar during those 4 days, but it could have been a high blood sugar problem - hard to tell without checking my blood, I don't have any tests on hand but I'm thinking about which ones to help me find out what my body is doing when i feel what this product has triggered in me. What was terrible! So I won't try again, don't feel like shit all day. It's like he somehow rewrote my system. Aside from my bad reaction to it (and that might just be me), the smell takes a bit of getting used to. But if you're already familiar with pea protein and some other vegan proteins and their weird/different flavors and aftertaste, then this is actually a pretty tasty product. I was used to all those veggie flavors and some of their weird aftertastes, so I was ready for them. I really like the taste of chocolate which helps mask some of those odd flavors. And I agree on all the ingredients - well other than I wasn't sure how Carb10 Pea Protein is formulated or made, it seems like it's a bit proprietary and so the exact ingredients aren't shown, but it can't do much be more than just fancy striped pea protein. For the price it is reasonable for this type of supplement and similar ingredients. This is NOT a diet protein blend, you will gain weight unless you work hard.
