EXCELLENT Magnetic Pigments!

If you're looking for a good deal on some nice magnetic cat eye powders, look no further. I love these and they work great. I used them with regular clear nail polish. The tubs are small but they were very full and also came sealed. Packaging was perfect. I absolutely will repurchase. Some tips for application:Use the SMALLEST possible amount of powder. Less is absolutely more. If your mixture looks opaque, you used too much. It needs to look sheer. The pigment needs to "float" in the polish for the effect to work.Work fast, go nail by nail, and hold the magnet for a long time so that the image will set properly. The pigments are magnetic, but they're not duochrome / multichrome. They shine with the magnetic "opalescent" effect but they don't have that color-shift that you might have seen from other magnetic pigments or polishes. You can mix pigments with each other to get other colors. The silver one can be used to lighten up other powders a bit. You can also use an "aurora snowflake" type magnetic polish or pigment to lighten them up or change up the color effect. If you have your nails already finished with top coat (whether it is fully cured gel or fully dried lacquer) you can rub the powder on like it's a chrome powder, then apply a generous amount of topcoat and use the magnet and it will work too. Note it doesn't work if you're not using a very glossy top coat as your base for this, much like chrome powders often don't cooperate with the wrong top coat.
