I rarely sweep wooden or tiled floors anymore! I do it in ONE STEP with them. I wet the covers and wring them out until they're damp and dripping. Then I use a pivoting wiper and cover an 8-10 foot square section at a time without lifting the wiper off the ground. Remove the dirty cover, put on a new one and continue. Throw them all in the laundry when you're done. Use in combination with a floor sprayer for heavily soiled areas. You can use a lot less cleaner with them. I find that covers last longer if you don't toss them in the dryer, which will damage the stream over time. This brand is made of high quality elastic and thick terry cloth. They're also great for a quick front door cleaning before guests arrive or to keep things from being tracked around the house. This is a more eco-friendly option than disposable stamps. PS Add a few drops of essential oil to the water while wetting your bedspread and your home will smell wonderful when you're done.
