I recently upgraded my iPhone 4S to XS Max and needed a protective case. My brother-in-law introduced me to the OtterBox when I bought the 4S as I needed a durable case while working on a construction site. When I find a brand I like I tend to, so I bought another Defender series case for my new investment. Let me tell you what an improvement over the previous case! First, the outer material that makes up the case is MUCH stronger than my previous one, even though I only had it recently. The previous material was too soft, broke, and I had to buy a replacement, which turned out to be better than the original! I don't see any such problem with the new one, as the material looks very high quality and adheres well to it. Also, everyone ends up buying a screen protector when they get a new phone, and my previous OtterBox had it built in. to the case itself, which wasn't as good as the one I bought. The NEW DEFENDER SERIES case comes without a SCREEN PROTECTOR. That's a PLUS! Buy your OWN screen protectors, they usually come in a 3-pack. Now if the screen protector is broken or damaged, just replace it with a new one! You are no longer married to a screen protector that is permanently attached to the case and cannot be replaced if damaged! I highly recommend this product!
