As in the picture, I also hung them on the ceiling. The problem is that if I turn them off and on again, all 8 strings should reset to the "Stay On" setting. I placed them above my dining table so all 8 controls are hard to reach. All 8 strings can be connected to each other without any problems. I plug them into a smart outlet so I can turn them on and off with my phone or smart speaker. Perhaps there is a better option for ceiling lights.
