So, my AM3+ PC burned down in December 2019 due to an electric shock from the wrath of God. My neighbor gave me some of her old laptops with various issues and I was able to get the Sony Vaio working by replacing the failed hard drive with this drive in January 2020. Installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on it and so far 7 months later I have no complaints about the drive. It was a lot thinner than I expected (if I had a splitter I could fit two in one laptop), but I could easily fit it into a larger drive bay. I currently have no reason to give it less than 5 stars in all categories (although I can't exactly test the high-end gaming use of it in the Sony Vaio) and the price was very affordable. Used in Sony VAIO VGN-FW560F Intel Core2 Duo P7450 @ 2.13GHz, 6GB RAM, 512MB, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (Sony), Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I can't wait to put together the gradually assembled parts for the new Rog Strix x570-E gaming PC in the Thermaltake Level 20 GT ARGB case. If I do, I'll probably keep that hard drive in the Vaio as a backup (and portable) computer.
