The lamp arrived well packaged as you can see in the photo, all parts are intact. Assembly was very easy - no tools were required, just manually loosen and remove the large plastic nut, slide on the glass barrel, replace the nut and screw in the plunger. Everything worked as described. The light level is fully adjustable with a knob (instead of preset light levels like many do) and gets pretty bright when fully on. Both USB ports worked well for charging my phone (the USB cable in the photo was mine). The lamp that comes with the kit gives a warm yellowish color that I liked for the bedside table in the bedroom. Overall I am satisfied with this lamp. Nice clear, simple design. Everything worked as described and will eventually fit in a bedside reading lamp or maybe a home office.
