I was looking for a light to attach to the steering column of my bike because my handlebars are not round. I mounted this lantern vertically and expected to have to use zip ties to secure it. But I was pleasantly surprised when the included adjustable strap fitted over my head tube. What a great use for empty space. I had to dissect the instructions to find out that to turn it on and off you have to press and hold the power button for a few seconds, but switching between 3 modes (constant, blinking, random blinking) is instantaneous after each press of the button as soon as the light comes on. 2 AAA batteries included. Great light to be seen.
