The battery box is as simple as it gets and the button and housing feel very cheap. The light is nice and bright and fast cycling is very fast. I like the extra clip that comes with it. Since my rear basket is blocking the seatpost, I only use one clip. I like that the CatEye bindings are somewhat standardized within their brand, but the bindings break very easily if you fall. I gave up on this lamp. I praise Cateye products, but this flashlight has a serious design flaw. The light works very well, it's bright enough, cheap and the battery lasts a long time. I love that it has a snap feature so when I lock my bike just the light can be removed or I can mount it on a different mount and attach it to the front basket (or jacket or backpack). ). The taillight is bright and has several different modes (fast flashing, slow flashing or continuous flashing) visible at night.
