Very limited usefulness

What good is a teapot that cannot be submerged in water? It has a top that doesn't screw or snap into place. Therefore, it cannot be submerged in water. Why does it even have a top? Now if you have a very tall and relatively narrow mug or teapot with a very small opening at the top, this could be very useful. Otherwise, save your money and use the old painted aluminum you inherited from your grandma.
