, just received these, they work straight away. I installed two within a few weeks and one of them had already burned out and was NOT used for dimmable light, just switched on and off. Too expensive to burn out so quickly. Renewal Date: Dec 2019 - Be careful though, I bought 4 boxes of these and received 4 DOA bulbs, they don't last as long as they say, really no better than a standard bulb. However, I love the color (temperature) of the light and how cool it is when in use. I have a light panel with 6 of these, 3 on the right side of the panel have lasted several months, 2 on the left have burned out 2 bulbs each. Switched the two on the left to a regular bulb and they worked for a few months so it's not a light bar (like I thought). Out of curiosity I replaced one of these again with this LED and it has now lasted several months. I put one in a clip on a light above my dog grooming table which I use twice a month for about 2-3 hours, one of which blew out in 3 months and the other in the other light went up to about 20% brightness within 2 days and lasted months now i use it as a night light. Not very good lightbulbs. I wanted to replace all my lights in the house with LED's so I bought them, great expense and not worth the cost due to the quality. When they work, they're great, but with so much DOA and burnout over days or weeks, the price becomes too high. The reason I didn't return it is how do you prove you have the DOA bulb and not just a blown one? You can't see inside.
