I first bought an Alienware mouse because I needed a mouse that could be used with both my right and left hands. My daily companion is the Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse, which is designed for right-handers only. Having already had an Alienware keyboard, which I think has an excellent build quality and premium feel, I figured the Alienware mouse would have a similar build quality. Put simply, it isn't. Compared to my Surface Mouse in the same price range, an Alienware (AW) mouse should be half the price. If it was a $50 mouse I would give it four to five stars. Life. (A surface mouse will last AT LEAST 2x longer, if not more.) - Feels cheap due to poor choice of materials. (Dell should have used the same material as the AW keyboard case.) - Too light, which could explain the short battery life due to the small battery size.
