I had a 10 gallon tank and used a siphon and bucket for a water change. I switched to a 36 gallon tank and trying to fill it from a bucket took a lot of effort and left a mess on the floor. There was water everywhere and I went in search of a better solution. I came across a phython solution that doesn't allow spilling. I was thrilled to finally be able to change the water with no problems. One note I want to mention is that I'm the most uncomfortable person. So when I tried to attach the no spill system I couldn't find the thread in the facet. I looked everywhere but couldn't find any attachment. I called Fiton. They were closed. So I went back to the siphon and bucket to change the water as I couldn't risk the death of the fish. As I said earlier about my lack of crafting skills, I was waiting for a response from Phython to guide me. A few days later I got a call and was asked to remove the aerator. Then I learned from him that there will be a key with taps that will remove it. Now I knew where to screw one end. In the meantime I ordered a snap connector, thinking it would help me attach it to the faucet. But it has been found that tying the system to the crane helps me. Now back to my faucet attachment, I have never been able to fix it. So I took a brass adapter to HD along with an aerator ring. They helped me and said the brass adapter I got from Phyton fits my blender and I don't need anything else. I took an extra adapter with me just in case. Back at home I successfully connected the adapter to the tap and managed to empty the tank. But there was a lot of water splashing around the faucet and water running down the sides. Tank could not be filled. I flooded the bathroom floor and said it didn't work. I returned to my bucket to fill the tank. Now you may be wondering why I gave this review 5 stars. If you're still interested, read on. A week later I wanted to try again. This time I removed the washers from the brass adapter and started with less pressure from the faucet. I did not drain the water from the tank but there was no leak. I increased the pressure and it started working. Still no leak. It's time to fill up the tank. I closed the drain side and crossed my fingers. Tank full, no leaks. There were five around. It worked. No more spills, buckets or sweeping. So in the end, two things were causing the problems. First there was an aerator and then washers in the adapter. There was nothing wrong with the product but I didn't know how it worked. Thank you for reading my long review.
