Review on 🚗 Enhance Towing Safety with Fit System 80900 Chevrolet/GMC/Cadillac Towing Mirror - Pair by Charles Lewis

My 2012 Silverado was what the dealer told me OEM chrome mirror finishes. The originals detach and these snap into place, so they're not really lids. When my towing mirrors arrived, I couldn't snap them to the bottom edge as instructed. It was close and I felt like a little encouragement with a screwdriver would have helped, but it didn't. I removed the chrome trim, exposed the mirror wires and was able to snap the tow mirrors in place neatly and firmly. When removing the chrome cover on the passenger side I broke one of the tabs but that doesn't seem to affect the attachment after I put it back on after our trip. Liked the look but not enough to keep them on all the time, especially with the back open because the chrome covers have been removed. Not sure what to do next. I can compare the profile of my so-called OEM parts to what actually came with the truck. I had these towing mirrors on my old Dodge Ram and loved them.
