Perfect fit (although tight which is better than loose)

Just received today. Ordered them yesterday. Not sure why it took so long. Where are those delivery drones? Either way, about $40 less than the trailer. Put it on and the mirrors are adjustable! (no food, old time - window down and hand on mirror). So far, so good! Much better than a stick on a convex mirror. It's 1:1 and you can point it where you want and see great.

They are mirrors. the best in towing and winching

These are mirrors. They are difficult to install, maybe they will get easier with time. When driving on the freeway, the mirrors wobble a lot. The right mirror shakes more. Aesthetically they look good. They allow you to keep the electric folding option if your truck has it. I plan to leave them on until we're done camping for the summer and take them off for the off-season. Maybe I'll try something different next year.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not bad

Great for external accessories

When first installing I couldn't attach the bottom tabs to the bottom of the mirror so I took a hair dryer and heated the bottom tabs for about 5 minutes and they slid right in. I read that someone exposed them to the sun to warm them up, but I think a hair dryer works much faster and you can direct the heat to where you need it. Once they were in place I drove the truck and now I can see both sides of my pontoon and they don't vibrate. If so, they have a set screw to tighten the mirror but I…

Wouldn't buy again but only because of the limited lifespan

Only used once so far but they're great so far. They fit my truck mirrors perfectly and don't wobble or vibrate while driving. They are also quite discreet and my kids didn't even notice them in the truck until I asked them what they thought of them. They were very easy to install and remove, but other reviewers' descriptions of how to do this are a must as I can imagine the tabs breaking if not installed correctly. Definitely recommend them. Update: The third time I use them the tabs start to…

The husband was overjoyed!

My husband bought a new trailer home and needed extra long mirrors for his truck to be able to tow it. He asked me to order them and I did. Got them with my one day free shipping (bonus). However he is very impatient and as we were leaving on a Wednesday and they were due to arrive the same day he didn't think he would get them in time so he bought a few from a caravan dealer. He paid twice as much for them and they were generic, not specific to his make/model of truck. He came home after…

I really want to give 5 stars but. . .

My 2012 Silverado was what the dealer told me OEM chrome mirror finishes. The originals detach and these snap into place, so they're not really lids. When my towing mirrors arrived, I couldn't snap them to the bottom edge as instructed. It was close and I felt like a little encouragement with a screwdriver would have helped, but it didn't. I removed the chrome trim, exposed the mirror wires and was able to snap the tow mirrors in place neatly and firmly. When removing the chrome cover on the…

That is a big help!

I checked out some of the other reviews and was surprised that people give stars for the smallest things. Although I bought my first trailer earlier this week, my dad has had at least one since I was a kid (I'm in my 50's now!) and he's always had trouble with mirror extensions on his tow truck. . The other reviewers don't seem to be aware of the problems. I like these mirrors very much. They snapped when I needed them (albeit with a little flattery from the Big Fancy Screwdriver), stayed when…

Great buy for the price

Bought these for my 2012 Yukon XL when we bought a new caravan. OEM mirrors were stock and not upgraded. They offered an extension to improve visibility to the side of the trailer and even slightly to the rear. There are many comments on the installation here. They snapped into place in minutes and came off your hand just as easily. You have to push/twist them a little harder than it sounds to engage the bottom clips, but it really isn't bad. More than just a mental hurdle to push mirrors…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Negative experience

Received and unpacked the towing mirrors this afternoon. In addition to the mirrors, instructions were also included on how best to fit the mirrors to the car's mirrors for towing. I read the instructions before trying to install it. Then when I tried to install them on the truck I had a very hard time getting the bottom tabs to rise above the bottom edge of the truck's mirror housing. I was putting too much pressure (or what I felt was becoming too much pressure) on the truck's transom axle…

Pros
  • One year trial period
