My 3 year old son has become very picky about clothes and everything needs to be either themed or in a color scheme. We didn't have anything to match his Aquaman shirt until I found these shorts. He's a 97+% for height and weight and the 5T suits him well. The material is dense, but even though I was in Texas, it didn't feel too hot. Now we have these shorts in multiple colors. The colors are vibrant and so far there has been no pilling or fading.
