Review on ACDelco PT1799 Original Equipment Multi Purpose by Dennis Chase

I got this part for my '97 Tahoe. It says it's for this car. I just checked again. Arrived safely but the cables were broken. It looks like someone dropped something sharp on the wires because all 3 have a large dent in the insulation that goes down to the wire. But even the plastic bag that the part is in is not damaged, so the damage must have occurred before the part was placed in the plastic bag. Since there was an undamaged wire on the connector, I cut off the bad section and connected it to shorter wires. I tried to connect it to the crankshaft sensor and it didn't connect. The plug looks the same, but upon closer inspection I realized the key was on the wrong side! This is NOT for my machine or it is not made correctly. I PASSED THIS ALL THIS JOB FOR FREE! Now I've had to cut the wires on my car's wiring harness even shorter to reattach the old connector and once I have a good connector I have to cut them again!
