Great product, well built and lots of light.

Excellent product, well finished and with high light output. I've had them installed for about a week - I'll update this review if I run into any problems in the future. To date I have bought 3 of these kits from "Amak" (red, white and amber) and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality. I returned several other similar "pre-wired" bulbs to Amazon for about the same price, but the leads were too short and given the custom nature of my setup, the Amaks were the better option. They're sealed well with some sort of clear epoxy on the back, so I don't think water ingress will ever be an issue. I have installed them in various places on my 2500 Cummins. I placed the whites in the wheel arches down to the tires. I put the yellow ones on the guard that point straight ahead, similar to how the Ford Raptor has factor yellow headlights. from the driver's side to the passenger's side (and vice versa) and not straight down. I have tested many different options of where to mount under a truck and this method has given me the best result for wide coverage. bars because their quality is excellent. HOWEVER, Rigids' price for these types of rocklights was exponentially more expensive. If these Amaxes survive, they're stealing! WIRING TIP: The wires from these lights are sufficient. The quality isn't great, but it's not bad either. I don't think I'll have any problems considering how I set mine up. The red and black insulated wires are covered with a much thicker black insulator. The insulation of the red/black wires looks more like silicone than a normal grommet. In fact, you can use your fingernail and remove the insulation. To reinforce everything after soldering, I use epoxy filled marine heat shrink tubing (cheap from Harbor Freight) to cover each solder point for the red/black wires, then slide larger gauge marine heat shrink tubing over and over both wires . rock bright black insulator. It reinforces everything, seals out water, and should provide a bulletproof solution. You'll need to use heat shrink tubing at these connections anyway, so take the extra time to get it right.

Pros
  • LED and neon lights
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
