Purchased to switch out the A4Tech 738k. I'll admit that making the switch to a new mouse and becoming accustomed to its controls was a breeze for me. I'm giving this mouse 5 stars since I believe its flaws will eventually be ironed out. The pluses: In terms of aesthetics, I really appreciate the lovely glow of the scroll wheel. A fabric braided soft cable of high quality. A top-notch laser sensing device. It is also utilized in a few high-end mice that cost more than ten times as much as this one. Very well put together; no squeaks or blowback. The scroll wheel also has a distinct click that may be felt. Modifying macros on the fly is now easier than ever. There is a "but" though; I'll explain further down. Internal storage space of 160 KB is plenty. Plenty for getting things done. Excellent usage of the Bloody program. Within that time frame, the presence of the hands activates the third and fourth fundamentals. The macro editor impressed me because of how well everything was organized. The program is enjoyable overall, and the 2022 adaptation isn't bad at all. However, it's possible it doesn't even exist. Negative: Carry on. After using it regularly for two weeks, I discovered a major issue. In shooters, the macro is normally activated by pressing the left mouse button (LMB), but this has to be changed frequently depending on the player's weapon of choice. The standard (according to the X7 series) triple-click button, which allows you to swiftly switch macros, should be preserved if at all possible. Here, the LMB will carry out its primary function, which is to initiate a single click. I should mention that while I have a nice, secure grasp on the mouse, my little finger always seems to be dangling. There is a "groove" on the mouse designed for this, but I find it uncomfortable to use (my finger twists incessantly).
