We bought these as we are trying to gradually make our kitchenware more eco-friendly. The scraper is really effective for scraping things stuck on the bottom of the pan without scratching the pan. the actual part of the sponge is so-so. It just doesn't work as effectively as a regular sponge. It has holes for you to fill the silicone sponge with soap and it will slowly leak out as you scrub, but I've found the holes don't work so I just apply the soap directly to the sponge. I like it because it's antibacterial, better for the environment, and easy to sterilize in the dishwasher, but I only have to give it 3 stars because it's just not a very effective sponge. If you're willing to put in a little extra effort and time washing your dishes, you can handle it and feel good about the environmental impact, but if you're already addicted to regular sponges and want them to replace you, expect You a little disappointed.
