Review on πŸ“» 75 Ohm FM Antenna for Stereo Receiver | Indoor FM Radio Antenna with F Type Male Plug Connector | Adapter Coaxial Cable FM Antenna for AV Home Theater Amplifier by Billy Stull

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I tried it as a TV antenna.

Obviously designed to resonate at FM radio frequencies. So it's basically a 'random wire' for other frequencies, and you'd expect it to work so-so for, say, live TV channels. Thought I'd give it a try for that "off-label" purpose anyway, as it has a standard F-Coax connector and I have a spare TV in the basement and don't have the hassle or expense of fitting an external one antenna or something big and flashy like Mohu Leaf, especially since I almost never watch TV channels on this TV. So I figured, for that price, maybe he gets a few channels, maybe not. Here's roughly what happened. I have several TV stations. Obviously the wire is active as I've gotten a completely different performance with the wire in different positions etc so that's good and it means that 'antenna' is doing something. So if you buy it as an FM radio antenna, I'm sure it will work great and you should buy it. If you consider it as a possible TV antenna? Yes it will make a difference, but maybe not much, but it's as expected.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Nothing here

It's a wire antenna. What's there to say?
