I find that the quality of each product seems to be declining due to these global logistics problems. I have old screws that work great in them, but these new ones just break under normal torque in soft pre-drilled pine. The thread doesn't even touch the metal bracket. I drilled a larger mount thinking that was the problem but now it is too big and still breaks an inch in several mounts. I'm only going to use a solid thread because if I pre-drill it any more it makes no sense.
