Review on Pack Figure Steel Fastener Screws by Sean Patel

Had to build a desk for my friend who now works from home and in grad school. I don't like most options for mating a hardwood countertop to a base, but this one worked great. They are very strong and allow the top to move independently of the base as the seasons change (we are in New York). Easy to get to the spot with a screwdriver or drill/screwdriver, they make 90° sockets for the drill bits I had to use. The screw that goes into the top is very close to the base you're attaching it to (<1/2 inch).
