This is a basic ghetto blaster with a cassette player that I bought it for. I mainly use it for burning cassette tapes to a wav file for burning to CD. I only use it for audio. My real complaint about this and the reason I give it 3 stars is that the controls are VERY difficult to read. The instructions should always be at hand. Sony should have painted the controls in contrasting colors instead of making them all gray with raised icons that are also grey. They are generally unreadable when you look at them. Basically, you should always have a guide in front of you to understand them. Maybe you'd get used to it
