Let me start by saying that I've loved Mophie products in the past. Since my Note 8, the functionality has failed miserably. Hit and miss if the charger works. I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and this Charge Stream Qi Wireless Vent Mount *charges* the phone, but the design hasn't been thought through enough. Not very easy to put in and take out the phone! That's a big headache! Forget using this vented charger if your finger or hand hurts and definitely **No Go** if you have arthritis in your hands. The spring mechanism on the mount is very durable. Overkill as the part that actually mounts into the vent isn't all that strong. Yes, your phone stays in the holder and charges, but I really don't recommend this holder for wireless charging. Why didn't they just come out with the Charge Force case and Charge Force magnetic mount? Well this has worked great in the past (no Charge Force battery cases, just magnetic cases with no batteries)! It was so convenient. money thrown away. I switched to an iOttie Air Mount wireless charger.
