I bought this humidifier to install on a homemade quail incubator. I have a humidistat that turns the humidifier on and off to keep the humidity at the right level. It's been working great for the past week and a half. * I keep the humidifier switch in the 12 o'clock position. My controller turns on and off so every time it turns off it resets the 12 hour value to 0 so I never have to open the incubator to reset the humidifier. In addition, the humidifier produces more mist in 12-hour mode than in 24-hour mode. If you want to use this incubator humidifier, I highly recommend it.
